North Whitefield 4th Friday Contradance

Some of the Fab Seven

The long running 4th Friday contradance is held at St. Denis Parish Hall on route 126 in North Whitefield. Legendary dance leader Ted Sannella was the regular North Whitefield caller for several years and his grave is within a few hundred feet of the hall. The dance now features a variety of callers and bands, and is still one of the most popular dances in the state. The Whitefield dance was the site of an evening of contradancing to the Beatles, featuring the Fab Seven with Rick Mohr calling. Check Rick's web page for more pictures.
